I am Louwyn An, a rising 8th grader at John Burroughs. I’ve been learning computer programming and AI/data science for over 3 years. My AI-powered app that automatically identifies different candy types and calculates their nutrient portfolio and my data science project assessing the social acceptability of non-alcoholic beer consumption by adolescents were both published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Emerging Investigators. I also love playing the piano, I have won 1 state competiton and got runner up the other times. Other hobbies include basketball and tennis. Teaching others is a passion of mine, and feel free to join me along the never-ending journey of AI!
